The Gorse or furze bush flowers almost continuously providing rich rewards for the gathering bees..Honey is linked to wisdom in celtic legend.
The gorse is the epitome of a good harvest in your life, linking fulfilment and fruitfulness in the inner and outer worlds.
Gorse is a bach flower remedy for those who have lost their faith and hope in life and need it restoring it to them....
The heady sent of coconut released from the blooms on a warm day is second to none.

Jo, this picture's beauty just takes me far away from my city.
Thank you so very much for that journey.
I have read books that described a landscape with gorse, but until now, I will freely admit I never really knew what gorse looked like.
Again, thank you. Now I also know what benefits may come from gorse. And the cocoanut aroma. Well, is that realy true, or are you having a bit of fun with ignorant folk such as I?
Sweet dreams. xo

I missed this earlier in the week so lovely to find now. It's certainly a faithful companion, the gorse here, and lights up those grey days.

I've never looked at gorse like that before, our fields are covered with it. Would it be a good flower/bush to have a small cutting in the house? We could do with a little restoration in the faith side of life at the moment.
